After a very hard day and four buckets of perspiration later we have................a decidedly empty garden plot and a dozen very happy chickens.
Together with.........the last of the produce
Some capsicum, a large long green cucumber, a nice truss of tomatoes and a big bunch of juicy basil leaves.
Big day here - going to turn my basil leaves into pesto now for a big bowl of pasta and then relax for the evening.
your garden looks great! nice & neat. happy chooks, all those greens, am still slowly pulling out the old broccoli & feeding that to my chooks, lots of grubs on them :))
ReplyDeletethanx for sharing!
Oh yes - tis the season for lots of grubs
DeleteI really like the layout of your garden beds. They look not only look neat but it is a very attractively designed. I hope when I get to the point of putting in my new vege patch I can have mine looking so good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherri, I am lucky that I have a handy "hubby" that does all the building of garden beds for me.
DeleteStill lots growing here, Sandi. It has been very mild weather...back to our normal summer weather thankfully. Not many pests here either apart from powdery mildew on the cucumbers and zucchini.
